Earlier this month, we shared a teaser video that featured the first images of the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake.
Today, Mercedes-Benz shares its latest video, presenting the monster hot rod out on the open road as it blasts through tunnels and coastal passes. Shots inside the cabin provide us with a decent impression of the interior treatment as well.
You know the numbers by now but it never gets old. Power comes from a 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 producing 525 hp and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. The robust seven-speed MCT gearbox by AMG channels all that power to the rear wheels. At full tilt, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake catapults from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in the mid-4 second range. Could you still use a little more power? A Special Edition 1 trim package boosts the muscle-wagon up to 557 hp.
Sadly, Mercedes-Benz has no plans on importing this fine machine to North American shores despite our cries and pleas. For now, enjoy the forbidden fruit in the epic minut and a half trailer below:
