Melania Trump Once Told Trump Wouldn’t Be With Her Had She Not Been Beautiful

The former first lady had an atypical response to a student who was curious to know if Melania Trump's allegiance towards Donald Trump was influenced by his wealth.

Earlier, when Melania was asked whether she would continue to be with her husband Donald Trump if he wasn't wealthy, she had a response that could be dubbed as out of character. The former FLOTUS who is usually enigmatic and mysterious, had a fiery answer.

The former model who celebrated her 51st birthday on Monday had told a student in 2005, that if it wasn’t for her looks, Donald Trump wouldn't have been with her. She seemed to be unsure if the billionaire former president would be interested in her if she was unattractive. When asked if she would still be with Trump if he wasn't wealthy, she responded, "If I weren't beautiful, do you think he'd be with me?"

According to a former friend and aide, her brutally honest public outburst against her husband was a calculated response, a report by Daily Star revealed.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's book, "Melania and Me" is a tell-all about her friendship with the former first lady was widely mocked by the White House during Trump's presidency. She said Melania's public image has been carefully designed to create an air of mystery. Wolkoff told People magazine that in actuality, Melania wasn't a cryptic puzzle that's hard to decipher, neither she thinks Melania is the enigmatic person that is portrayed to be.

"That is why the public's view of her is so crucial. It's all part of the game, the iron curtain around her, the slapping of [her husband's] fist. It's all part of the plan to keep her a mystery."

She was never on the ballot, and she will continue to live her life her way. Her chosen primary responsibilities are as a wife and mother, and she maintains a small inner circle, People reported. She also appreciates the power and advantages of her vantage position. She shares her husband's ideals, which include valuing public image and loyalty, and nowhere was this more evident than during the Capitol insurgency, when she chose to break her silence and speak in favor of her husband.
