Social media users and critics of Megyn Kelly have reacted with confusion and hesitant praise after the conservative commentator criticized Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem for her glamorous immigration raid look.

Kelly criticized the former South Dakota governor during her show on Wednesday, accusing Noem of cosplaying as a law enforcement officer and looking for a photo op. Despite this, Kelly stated that she believed Noem was doing a good job overall.

"She's doing a great job. Like, her actual performance as DHS secretary, in my view anyway, has been amazing. Just stop trying to glamorize the mission and put yourself in the middle of it as you cosplay ICE agent, which you're not," said Kelly. "I can't stand these photo ops, you guys. I think they diminish ICE, they diminish DHS, CPB. She's not an agent! She is an administrative policy person appointed by Trump because she was very loyal to him."

"Fine. But stop with the glam, I mean, she looks like I look right now, but she's out in the field with her gun, being like we're gonna go kick some ass! No one wants you there first of all, nobody ever wants the extra lady who doesn't actually belong. They just don't," Kelly continued.

Users accustomed to criticizing or disagreeing with Kelly found themselves in uncertain agreement, taking to online platforms to express their conflicted emotions.

"[Did] hell freeze over...checks the Weather Channel...no it hasn't but I'm agreeing with Megyn Kelly," wrote one user.

"Do you think Megyn Kelly is a feminist in Conservative clothing?" said another.

"I'll never forgive Megyn Kelly for making me agree with her for once," wrote a third.

"Am I actually cough... agreeing ... cough, with Megyn Kelly?!" said a fourth.

Noem has been criticized by many social media users and other fellow conservatives for getting dolled up and posting photos and videos of herself accompanying immigration officials on deportation raids and other operations.
