Meghan Markle often goes out in public wearing the simplest jewelry, but it was revealed that each piece that the Duchess of Sussex wears actually has hidden meaning so they are quite special for her. From honoring Princess Diana to showing her love to her family and culture, she always sends a secret message regardless of how subdued they may be. Below are some of Meghan’s personal ornaments and the significance that they hold for Prince Harry’s wife.

Princess Diana’s Diamonds

Meghan didn’t have the chance to meet Princess Diana, so she just honors her in simple ways. Her three-stone engagement ring features a big diamond in the center, which was sourced from Botswana, a place that is special to Prince Harry and his wife. The two smaller diamonds at the sides were from Princess Diana's personal collection and were added as a tribute to the late Princess of Wales.

Mantra Gold Ring

Last year, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted wearing an £85 gold ring, and it was said to be from Missoma Jewellery’s Mantra collection. This range of gems was created based on the concept of giving, empowering, well-wishing and self-love. The duchess’ mantra ring features an open heart symbol, which means love, passion and friendship, and it should be worn close to the heart, as per The Sun.

The 18-carat gold ring was fitted with white topaz, which is believed to help with improving creativity and individuality. The stone can also diminish stress and brings clarity in communication-related problems and happiness.

Hamsa Hand Ring

Meghan once wore a gold ring when she visited the Royal Variety nursing home this year. It is the “Hamsa Hand” ring made by the Turkish brand Kismet by Milka. The $440 jewelry is also known as the “Hand of God,” and it features a symbol that appears to be a hand with an eyeball in the middle.

In Style noted that this symbol is used as a protection against evil and negativity. It is also used as an amulet in ancient Middle East and is said to bring luck, good fortune, health and happiness to its owner.

Gold Archie Necklace

In the recent Wimbledon match, Meghan showed up wearing casual jeans and a blazer ensemble. Her only accessory was a gold necklace with the letter “A” pendant. People reported that the piece was a gift from an Australian jeweler, and she wore it to show her love to her first-born, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Elephant Hair Bracelet

During the World Elephant Day, one photo showed Meghan wearing an elephant hair bracelet. Her jewelry was made of silver and other materials, while the original ones were really made from elephant’s hair, but regardless of the materials, the meaning of this bracelet is still the same.

It is said to bring luck, and the wearer will be blessed with good health, prosperity, love and success. The two knots are also believed to help with fertility and can drive away bad spirits and forces.
