Meghan Markle is reportedly furious because her clothing line is being exploited. Her clothing line is a charitable endeavor designed to help disadvantaged women return to work. However, scam artists are reportedly taking advantage of it, which the Duchess cannot take.

According to Express UK, scam artists saw Markle’s high street clothing as an opportunity to earn money at the expense of the disadvantaged. The clothing line was done in collaboration to raise money for Smart Works, an organization devoted to helping disadvantaged women to return to employment.

Scam artists are said to be buying them in bulk because they are priced affordably and then selling them online for. a hefty profit. This naturally put the whole charitable objective at disarray.

Prince Harry's wife is not keeping a blind eye to what is happening. According to Royal Commentators Lorraine Kelly and Russel Myers, the Duchess was very annoyed at the greed of these scammers, who cunningly exploited her project.

“Meghan clothing line is doing incredibly well but it has caused just a little bit of a hoo-ha,” Kelly said. “It is not her fault obviously, nothing to do with her,” she clarified. Myers then explained, “She has had some really bad headlines recently and then this clothing collection came on called the Capsule Collection for Smart Works.”

According to Myers, “It is a charity that helps disadvantaged women get back into the world of work fitting them out with great outfits. And now the collection has been bought from John Lewis, M&S and Jigsaw. People swept to hoover up the items and now they are being sold on eBay for seven times their value. We saw a dress from M&S worth £19.50 being sold for £150.”

No wonder the former "Suits" star is very furious. As Myers put, it is truly unethical.

When the clothing line was launched, she wrote why she got involved in the project in the first place and why she was passionate about it. “Since moving to the UK, it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organizations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact,” a statement from her posted on the official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, read.

She recalled that just last September, she was able to launched the ‘Together’ cookbook with the women of the Hubb Kitchen in Grenfell and a year later, this collection is launched. “I am excited to celebrate the launch of another initiative of women supporting women, and communities working together for the greater good,” the statement further read.
