Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Megan Fox have sparked pregnancy rumors after dedicating his song Twin Flame to their 'unborn child' at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
On Sunday, the 32-year-old rapper – born Colson Baker – strummed his guitar on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and dedicated part of the song to his future kid with his fiancée, whom he referred to as his wife.
Megan Fox and MGK began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement in January of this year.
"I wrote this song for my wife," he said per Page Six, before launching into the hit single. A few minutes later, he added: "And this is for our unborn child."
MGK appeared to imply that he and Megan had a hasty wedding, akin to Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian's rumored fast-track wedding.
The rapper has also fuelled speculation that he and Megan are expecting a kid.
An insider informed E! News: "People in the audience turned to each other perplexed and said, 'Wife?''
The singer admitted in the lyrics of the final song from his album Mainstream Sellout, which he published in March, that the actress, 35, is too good for him.
While he has referred to Fox as his spouse before, they have not previously intimated that they expect their first child together.
He spoke to Entertainment Tonight (via Daily Mail) ahead of the concert about the significance of the song he planned to sing.
According to MGK: "I wrote this song two years ago exactly today, played it for her. It's just all the trip. It's all meant to be,' he said, adding that the timing of this weekend makes it even more fitting: 'It's really cool because it's a Lunar eclipse tonight. It's a full moon. It's her birthday tomorrow."
While several news sites jumped on reports that Megan Fox was expecting a child, many fans were moved to tears by the song's lyrics.
Because the song appears to have a heartbeat, which could be that of a newborn, some fans have claimed that MGK's "unborn child" reveal is linked to pregnancy. Others have speculated that the couple may have had a kid during their relationship based on MGK's lyrics.
One fan pointed to an MGK album behind-the-scenes pamphlet that reads:
"The second part of this song came almost two years later. Well, it actually started as a song called One Day And 10 Weeks. Then I made a song called Last November. Neither expressed the sadness we experienced from what I will leave private, and I circled back to this song and decided to add on to the story. Our story."
While MGK chose to publish the information regarding his "unborn child," numerous fans have urged others to respect the pair and their private lives.
"Twin Flames" is the latest song from MGK's new album, Mainstream Sellout , which is out now.
