McLaren first introduced its MP4-12C coupe as a highly capable sports car featuring a simple form-follows-function minimalistic design. However, when McLaren unveiled the new MP4-12C Spider last summer, the new open top model managed to completely transform the impression of the car. With the roof off, the MP4-12C Spider is arguably the sexiest and most desirable car on the road.
McLaren is now delivering its new MP4-12C Spider in North America. Turning up its marketing efforts, the company has just revealed an all new commercial featuring the gorgeous Spider up in the snowy caps of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
With skilled Pikes Peak pro racing driver Rhys Millen at the wheel, the MP4-12C Spider races against snowboarder Chanelle Sladics through the Rocky's Loveland Pass, brilliantly capturing the magic of McLaren's crazy open-top machine.
A $267,750 car, McLaren manages to not only demonstrate the McLaren's performance, but also its poise among less than ideal weather conditions.
