"Más Canija Que Ninguna" is the title of Rosy Ocampo's new telenovela in pre-production. Ocampo has seen a lot of success in the telenovela comedy genre with series like "Por Ella Soy Eva," "La Fea Más Bella," "Las Tontas No Van Al Cielo" and most recently "Que Pobres Tan Ricos." There are not a lot of details of what the story will be about, but there are rumors of who will star in the new Televisa production expected to replace "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" once this concludes airing. There are two names that are being considered for the leading role that will surely make this new telenovela a hit.
Altair Jarabo is the name that has been most attached to this project as first reported by Maxine Woodside. Jarabo was previously part of the "Mentir Para Vivir" cast which was an Ocampo production. The 28-year-old actress has been in numerous telenovelas like "Al Diablo Con Los Guapos," "En Nombre Del Amor," "Abismo de Pasión" and "Llena de Amor" playing villainous characters that reform by the time the story wraps. A leading role will be a change for her. Another actress that's being considered is Martha Higareda according to Juan José Origel. The actress has been sought out by different producers over the years, but has never starred in a Televisa production.
For the lead male role David Zepeda and Mark Tacher are under consideration. Both actors have worked with Ocampo before, Zepeda on "La Fuerza del Destino" and "Mentir Para Vivir" and Tacher more recently on "Que Pobres Tan Ricos." The funny part of the casting news is that all of the actors mentioned for this new comedy are actors that got their starts on Televisa's main rival, TV Azteca. Altair was on "Súbete a Mi Moto," Martha Higareda on "Las Juanas" and "Enamórate," Mark Tacher on "Lo Que Es El Amor" and "Mirada de Mujer" and David Zepeda on "Como En El Cine" and "Los Sánchez." Which actors would you like to see star in "Más Canija Que Ninguna"?
