Mariah Carey, Bryan Tanaka Dating? Singer Spotted Kissing Backup Dancer In Maui

Mariah Carey has been handling her breakup with James Packer very well. Although the former couple was engaged to be married, the pop diva has bounced back from the relationship and is now exploring the dating scene. It is being reported that the singer was spotted getting close with a backup dancer!

According to Us Weekly, Mariah Carey was spotted kissing her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka in Maui. While most people would be shocked because there were rumors that Mariah may be intereste din patching things up with Packer, the pop diva is already on to the next one!

The site reports that after her split with Packer in late October, rumors have been running rampant that she is romantically involved with Tanaka. Despite the chatter, insiders revealed to the site that the two have a "close" bond but they are nothing more than friends.

What makes things interesting is that in a recent trailer for Mariah’s World, members of Carey’s team discuss Tanaka’s “crush” on the pop diva. “Tanaka does have a crush on her,” a staff member says, while a second team member replies, “What are we going to do with him?”

Apparently the nothing more than friends declaration was a front. The pair traveled to Maui’s Grand Wailea Resort for a few days after the “Fantasy” singer’s three shows in Honolulu.

“They were all over each other, making out and not wanting to be more than a few feet apart,” according to an eyewitness. “They swam in the ocean and he picked her up to kiss her. She was jumping into his arms, and he bent her back over his knee like they were dancing. Then they walked on the beach holding hands, and he gave her a piggyback ride. They had a lot of fun together, and were very playful. She was kicking up the water to splash him, and he was laughing.”

Sources also say that the two looked to be in great spirits and enjoying their time together. “She seemed very happy and comfortable with Bryan,” the eyewitness said.

If the two are dating, we are very happy for the pop diva. Although she has handled her split with Packer very well, we can imagine how disappointed she was for the relationship to not work out. But as they say, "the best way to get over a man is get under a new one."
