Eli and Peyton Manning have teamed up to promote DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket donning cheesy 1980s-style curly wigs and rapping a slow jam called "Football On Your Phone."
The sexy quarterbacks show off some serious swag as they rap the lyrics to their first "hit" single as three fine-looking ladies sing the backup vocals while the sports stars toss around a golden football.
"Look at this guy, using his phone as a phone. Your phone ain't for calling, your phone is for footballing!" the Mannings rap while promoting DirecTV's newest feature that allows its costumers to get all the NFL games on your electronic devices.
On the video, that is as fascinating as it is disturbing, both Mannings are hilarious, but the comedy edge goes to Eli for the lyric, "It's like I spilled milk all over your blouse, by acc-i-dent - or on purpose. It's like the milk is like football and your blouse... is the phone."
The Manning brothers also encourage you to watch football on your phone whether you're "On a date with Simone, taking out a small loan, sitting on your throne, or buttering a scone."
"Football on your phone. Do you want that? ... Our dad does," the brothers sing, lending the spotlight to the Manning patriarch Archie, as he sits upon a golden throne with a stoic face and grunts, "Uh huh. Yeah."
So what would Alexander Graham Bell say if he saw you watching football on your phone?
According to the Mannings, who cares? "Dude's dead."
Check out the video below and let us know what you think. Be very careful though. No matter how stupid you think the song is, it will get stuck in your head and you'll find yourself humming the catchy tune at the most inappropriate moments.
But then again, seeing the Mannings pretending to be rap celebrities? Totally worth it!
