For those eager to see what the fourth season of “The Mandalorian” will have to offer, the good news is that the show creator of the “Star Wars” series is on the job.

Jon Favreau revealed in an interview with Cinemablend that he is now busy writing the new scripts for “The Mandalorian” and added that they are lucky they do not have to rush things to properly cover the story.

"With television, we're very lucky that we don't have to rush things through into an hour-and-a-half, two hours," Favreau said. "We get to tell stories slowly. So now, as Dave [Filoni]'s doing Ahsoka, it's very much informing the writing that I'm doing for [The Mandalorian] Season 4. It becomes -- how should I put it -- more precise."

There is growing excitement about what the fourth season of “The Mandalorian” has to offer, especially with the season 3 footage shown at the Star Wars Celebration 2022.

Fans got a glimpse of Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin as he sets out to reclaim his place in the clan after being banished in The Book of Boba Fett.

It appears that he will be joined in his mission by his son, Grogu. They will receive some support from Bounty Hunters' Guild leader Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and mechanic Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris).

Also spotted at the Star Wars Celebration 2022 was the first live-action depiction of Mandalore.

The planet was briefly shown in “Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian” with the Empire bombarding the surface during "The Night of a Thousand Tears."

But despite that, Mandalorian civilization appears to be lying in ruins decades after that event.

While there is a lot to expect, fans can still enjoy season one and season two of “The Mandalorian” which is currently streaming on Disney+. Season 3 is expected to come out in early 2023.
