A new trailer for “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” is out, ahead of its scheduled release next month. Gohan and Piccolo will lead the way against the Red Ribbon Army although the trailer provides a glimpse of the new-look Son Gohan.
Tied to that, most are now wondering if this trailer is a sign of things to come, particularly in bringing back “Dragon Ball Z” villain, Cell.
In the trailer, fans were treated to a glimpse of things to come. This includes the fight scenes that will take place for the summer release of the Z-Fighters who will be part of the clash with the Red Ribbon Army.
From there, speculations and theories are now up in the air. Will there be a new transformation on the part of Gohan? Who among the other characters from the famed anime will be returning?
The answers to all of that should be known soon. It is set to premiere in Japan on June 11 but more trailers are anticipated to be released in the coming weeks leading to that date. The film is also set to make a worldwide debut in the summer.
As far as what to expect for the movie, here is a synopsis released courtesy of Crunchyroll:
“The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves “Super Heroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!”
Tetsurou Kadama will be directing the 3DCG film. Among the returning voice actors include Masako Nozawa, Toshio Furukawa, Ryou Hirokawa, Takeshi Kusao, Aya Hisakawa, and more.
