Transfer rumors are rampant for Manchester United striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez now that the World Cup is over and new coach Louis Van Gaal has landed in Los Angeles where the English team is training.
Chicharito has made no secret both before the World Cup and during that he would like to start for both the Mexican national team and for Man U. Louis Van Gaal is more of a fan of the European style of play and it is rumored that Chicharito might be out at Man U.
If Manchester United does indeed make Chicharito available, Southhampton, Inter Milan, Valencia and Napoli are all rumored clubs that would bid for the 26 year old’s services.
Chicharito’s a deadly assassin inside the box, but outside of the box his skill set is lacking. It won’t take long for Van Gaal to realize that he is not a starter and is better suited off the bench. Over the span of 90 minutes, it will not take long for any opponent to exploit the Mexican striker’s weaknesses.
If Chicharito leaves United, fans will certainly be sad to see him go, however, a move at this time is necessary especially for Chicharito to start eslewhere, learn, and grow as a player.
