The very eagerly awaited season 6 of AMC hit "Mad Men" aired on Sunday, and it was as dark and slow moving as its protagonist, swag, old fashioned-lover Don Draper.
In the 10 months since we last saw the Madison Ave boys, Draper has made a transition back to the philandering anti-hero fans knew and grew to love. As season 5 closed in the spring of 1967, Draper walked Bond-style leaving his wife in the distance.
Does this mean Draper is back to his old ways? Judging by some photos that have been leaked from the episode 2, due to air on Sunday April 13, he just might.
After a vacation in Hawaii with now soap star wife Megan, it looks like there is trouble in paradise. Draper did not say a word until a stranger approached him in the bar, and read Dante's "Inferno" - a tale of death and sin that is expected to be the leitmotif through the season.
And of course, earlier than not Draper is in bed with another woman - his neighbor's wife. The monogamist suit he had been donning is finally off.
What is in storage for Draper? Will his marriage to the sweet French Canadian last? Are Joan and Roger over for good? Will Betty keep track of her daughter's antics?
"Mad Men: The Doorway Part 2" will air on Sunday April 13 at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
