Luis Miguel’s management team announced vie Twitter that the singer will be suspending, once again, his concerts at El Auditorio Nacional scheduled for next week. “El Auditorio Nacional and Luis Miguel’s office are sorry to inform that performances from March 30 to April 3 will be suspended due to the medical treatments Luis Miguel has to go through, and which he started at the end of 2015, in order to achieve full recovery,” reads the official statement posted on the singer’s official account.

Back in November, “El Sol de México” made the headlines after it was reported he had arrived 45 minutes late to his “Dejá Vu Tour” concert at the same venue, and to top it all off, had left the audience hanging after performing for only 20 minutes. His management team immediately offered their sincere apologies online and revealed the 45-year-old crooner was under the weather and had to leave the stage immediately because he wasn’t feeling very well.

Numerous rumors have surfaced in the last 4 months regarding the singer’s health. Is he an alcoholic? Is he doing drugs? Can he still sing? Is he being a “Diva”? Even though Luis Miguel’s entourage has done everything to assure the singer’s fans that he is doing O.K. and will be back on the stage sooner or later. An interview he gave to Channel 13’s “Telenoche” suggests otherwise.

“It was a situation that kept developing after all those years on the stage, with all the decibels and volume levels for more than 30 years. It’s only natural for your body to react, so I had to do what I had to do,” he told Argentinian reporter Roxy Vázquez about his tinnitus condition.

Luis Miguel’s health issues have forced him to cancel not only his own tour dates, but one of the most awaited events this year: his tour next to Alejandro Fernández. The Mexican music icons were all ready to hit the road together this year, as it was promoted by “El Potrillo” on social media back in November, unfortunately, many fans were disappointed when it’s cancelation was announced at the beginning of the year.

Future concert dates are not promised in the press communicate posted on Luis Miguel’s Twitter page on Wednesday, March 23. Could this be it for LuisMi? Let us know your opinion in the comment box below.
