Luis Miguel New Girlfriend: Venezuelan Journalist Desiree Ortiz Salswach Confirms Relationship

A few months ago we reported on the possible romance that singer Luis Miguel had with Cristian Castro's ex-girlfriend, Hanna Jaff Bosdet. Apparently, that relationship didn't succeed and weeks later the singer was seen on several occasions accompanied by journalist Desiree Ortiz Salswach.

Mexican magazine TV and Novelas, questioned the Venezuelan about the existence of a romance between them, which could not be denied by Ortiz Salswach, making it clear that the relationship, in her own words, is on track.

"God takes care of what is hidden, he is very well and I am also very well. We met a few months ago," she explained to TV y Novelas. She also said if it was love first sight: "It was more energetic, it's no secret that he is handsome and that he is a very successful person, but (our relationship) goes beyond that, everything is very well ... I think (the relationship) is very serious, but I should not be saying any of this."

The journalist flatly denied that there are marriage plans: "No, in that sense we agree on how we think." Ortiz Salswach also spoke about the health of the singer. "He's very well. I don't know if six months or a year ago he had health problems, but right now ihe's wonderfully good. He is taking a break but it is not a very long break (professionally). I don't know where they got that he had bad character, this man is very funny and has a wonderful sense of humor," said the winner of Fox Sports Awards as "The most competent younger Journalist."

Desiree was born and lived in Caracas, until she was 21. She left to pursue work opportunities abroad, living and working in Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina and the United States.
