Lucha Libre wrestlers and scary Latino legends take center stage at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2024

Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando announced its spine-tingling 2024 Halloween Horror Nights lineup, featuring a diverse array of nine haunted houses and scare zones designed to terrify guests. Among the new additions is a distinctly Latin-inspired haunted house, promising to deliver unique cultural scares.

Once again, there are houses with horror movie themes, including "A Quiet Place," "Blockbusters" and "Slaughter Cinema 2," as well as interesting and terrifying museum experiences and spectacularly scarry horror zones. Believe it or not, one of them will have lucha libre monsters.

Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America

A standout reveal for 2024 is "Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America," a haunted house that plunges guests into the heart of Latin American myths and legends.

Guided by the spectral El Muerte, visitors will traverse a graveyard haunted by creatures such as El Charro, the soul-stealing rider; El Cadejo, the supernatural doglike spirit; and El Cucuy, the child-eating bogeyman. This house is set in the eerie Cemetery of The Lost, offering a fresh yet horrifying experience.

A Terrifying Lineup of Haunted Houses

This year's event boasts an impressive selection of haunted houses, each designed to push the boundaries of fear:

1. Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines - Face iconic monsters in a new, chilling storyline.
2. Insidious: The Further - Enter the eerie realm of the Further and confront its nightmarish inhabitants.
3. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - Join the Ghostbusters in a frozen New York City teeming with paranormal threats.
4. A Quiet Place - Experience the terrifying silence of a world where monsters hunt by sound.
5. Triplets of Terror - Encounter three interconnected tales of horror that will leave you breathless.
6. The Museum: Deadly Exhibits - Navigate through a museum where the exhibits come to life with deadly intent.
7. Major Sweets Candy Factory - Discover the sinister secrets of a candy factory where treats turn into nightmares.
8. Goblin's Feast - Step into a banquet of horrors where goblins feast on more than just food.
9. Slaughter Sinema 2 - Return to the grindhouse with a new collection of B-movie horrors.

Scare Zones and More

In addition to the haunted houses, guests can explore various scare zones, including the high-energy "Luchadores Monstruosos," where luchadores battle against masked monsters, and other spine-chilling zones like "Dead Exposure: Death Valley."

Universal only provided a summary of the scare zone's synopsis:

"¡Ojo! You're about to get caught in the middle of a Lucha Libre horror film. Two luchadores are going to the mat against a horde of masked monsters."

Event Details and Tickets

The 2024 edition of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando runs on select nights from September 5th to November 3rd.
