A Louisiana police officer, who was previously fired for "conduct unbecoming," was arrested on Wednesday and charged with allegedly raping two minors.

Nicholas LoCicero started his law enforcement career with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office but left to join the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. The office later fired him because of his unsatisfactory work performance, according to WAFB, and he was re-hired at the EBR Sheriff's Office.

LoCicero was put on leave when the sheriff's department learned of his charges. WAFB reported the alleged predator was then terminated the day of his arrest.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard told Unfiltered with Kiran "detectives obtained forensic interviews from the juvenile victims who named Nicholas LoCicero as the violator."

He was charged with two counts of first-degree rape and one count of misdemeanor sexual battery. It's unclear how much time LoCicero will serve if convicted.
