Lindsay Lohan is attempting to leave the Betty Ford Center where she is currently receiving treatment because doctors at the renowned drug rehab facility have taken away her supply of prescription Adderall.
According to TMZ, Lohan is prescribed Adderall for her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), however, her doctors at Betty Ford are now treating the disorder with alternatives. ADHD can be treated with natural remedies by taking vitamins and supplements, including Zinc and Fish Oil.
Page Six reported that, "one of the reasons doctors get their patients off Adderall is that they believe many Hollywood stars use the drug as a weight-control drug."
Lohan originally choose Betty Ford to receive treatment because the rehab facility originally stated they would let her keep her ADHD medications. But now, the actress is reportedly planning on leaving even though despite Judge James Dabney ordering her to attend 90-days of locked-down rehab.
Lohan has only been at Betty Ford for about a week and will need to stay for at least 3-months, Lohan recently discussed her multiple stints in rehab in an interview with Piers morgan. "I've been court-ordered to do it six times. I could write the book on rehab. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless. The first few times I was court-ordered to rehab it was like a joke, like killing time."
