The urban artist will be joined by Ariana Ron Pedrique as presenter. Producers have already lined up an all-star cast that includes celebrities from movies, television and sports like Ana De La Reguera, Juan Manuel Márquez, the Lora family, Christian Martinoli. Also from the "El Señor De Los Cielos" saga Raúl Méndez, who played "Chacorta," will join all the fun. "Lip Sync México" is set to premiere on July 6 at 9pm CT on Comedy Central Latin America and on July 7 at 10pm on Azteca 7.
"'Lip Sync México' is a fun project and represents an opportunity to explore another phase as a host in my career," Nicky Jam said. "This program will be enjoyable and excite families to see their artists, singers and favorite athletes competing to show who is the best lip syncer." Eduardo Lebrija, Senior VP and General Director of Viacom México, Central America and Caribbean, said, "'Lip Sync México' is the local version of Lip Sync Battle, it is part of the new and original portfolio content of Comedy Central that we'll be producing in México for all of Latin America. Add to that the hosting duties of the talented Nicky Jam and as a result we have a unique musical experience that will entertain and make our audiences laugh through a fun format that will have many battles between celebrities."
