Leonardo DiCaprio was recently accused of asking “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” crew members to avoid making eye contact with him on the set of his upcoming movie. The absurd claim was published by a tabloid, which failed to reveal the name of its so-called source.
Rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop clarified that there is no truth to the report, especially since there has been no proof that the actor asked the staff to not look him in the eye. Throughout DiCaprio’s career in Hollywood, he has never been accused of having behavioral problems on set.
Even though the actor has tried his best to keep his life as low profile and private as possible, he’s not one to be called rude. “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” director Quentin Tarantino even praised DiCaprio recently for his dedication and professionalism.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio also made headlines this week after his “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” co-star Brad Pitt joked about the “Titanic” star throwing the best tantrums ever. During an interview at the film’s red carpet premiere in Los Angeles, Pitt also had nothing but nice words to say about his co-star.
“He’s a good egg, and I’m really happy the restraining order was lifted off of me, so we were able to work again,” he said. “No, he’s a great egg. We come from the same circles and I really admire his taste and his choices. I’m really happy this one lined up for us,” he added.
In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio portrays the character of a fading Hollywood star who’s struggling to stay relevant in the late 1960s. According to Pitt, DiCaprio’s character in the movie is hilarious as he will be throwing one of the best tantrums to have ever been featured in a film.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, DiCaprio also gushed over working with Pitt. “We both live in Los Angeles and this is about the changing of the culture in the late 60s, and we understand these dynamics of these professional relationships that also turn into families,” he said.
