Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt prove that they are at the height of their careers with the recent success of their movie “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.” The Quentin Tarantino drama thriller film released last month has already hit over $115.3 million domestically in just four weeks. The star-studded cast highlights both DiCaprio and Pitt, putting to question: who’s the better actor between the two?

“Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” centers on the Golden Age of Hollywood and how old-timers Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth — respectively played by DiCaprio and Pitt — navigate their way in the suddenly unfamiliar industry. The movie is generating Oscar buzz, which places both Pitt and DiCaprio at odds for the Best Actor award.

The two committed to a very outstanding performance in their movie together. However, the Best Actor nominee seems to fall on DiCaprio to carry. “It’s the best work Brad has ever done but it’s all driving Rick’s narrative,” said an Academy member.

Off the bat, DiCaprio holds an advantage over Pitt, given his stellar performance in the critically acclaimed 2015 drama “The Revenant.” His role as Hugh Glass saw him winning his first Oscar award for Best Actor after four previous acting nominations. Pitt, on the other hand, has yet to be granted an acting award, which he is allegedly not that big on.

DiCaprio has been in the industry for long, starting with his breakout role as Arnie in “What's Eating Gilbert Grape” when he was just 13-years-old. The role immediately established DiCaprio as a household name, even garnering him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The celebrated actor held roles in esteemed movies like “Titanic” and “The Wolf Of Wall Street.”

Meanwhile, Pitt stole the hearts of his viewers with his “cute butt” in “Thelma And Louise,” despite being on-screen for only 7 minutes. He proved his versatility as an actor in his performance in “12 Monkeys,” which pit him against the world-famous action star Bruce Willis. This earned him his first Oscar Nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

The two A-list actors’ rivalry in their latest movie seems to have upped their game, but their performances are both unquestionably amazing. The battle for the better actor between the two ends with a tie.
