Lamar Odom Says Cheating On His ‘Angel’ Khloe Kardashian Still Haunts Him

Lamar Odom just opened up about his previous relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The basketball player also discussed his past drug addiction in a new interview.

While speaking with BuzzFeed News’ Facebook show “Profile,” the 39-year-old athlete said that what he did to his ex-wife still haunts him every day. “You marry someone after 30 days, they never leave your heart,” he said.

Kardashian and Odom tied the knot in 2009 after knowing each other for just a month. After their divorce was finalized, Odom was hospitalized after a suspected drug overdose. Despite no longer being together, Kardashian stepped up and took care of her estranged ex-husband.

“She was my angel,” he said. “When I woke up out of the coma, my memory was terrible and I couldn’t walk or talk and just her spirit, always being there, her bringing pictures of my mother, my grandmother, just to help me bring my memory back. She’s a trooper.”

While promoting his upcoming memoir, “Darkness To Light,” Lamar Odom revealed that he and Kardashian still message each other every now and then. But he also said that he doesn’t consider them to be friends or close acquaintances.

But one day before his interview, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star texted Odom to tell him that she couldn’t believe he still remembered one hilarious story about his infidelity. “And the story she’s talking about is when she comes to the hotel and finds two women and puts her hands on one of them,” Odom said.

The basketball player also shared one of the stories he included in his new memoir. Odom said that what he regrets the most is threatening to kill Kardashian while he was high on cocaine and ecstasy.

“Khloe came down and knocked on the door,” Odom wrote in his book. “I opened it suddenly and grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders, which frightened her. ‘What the [expletive] are you doing?’ I screamed, out of my mind.’ I said, ‘You're trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I’ll [expletive] kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of.”
