Lady Gaga in space! We all knew she was a bit out there but now she's going way way out there -- to outer space! US Weekly reports the "Applause" singer is going to perform in outer space. The singer is going to a take the Virgin Galactic ship and sing one song which will be broadcast to the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico. The 27-year-old singer is reportedly going to go through months of vocal training in order to prepare for the big intergalactic number.

Lady Gaga will also be taking her whole entourage for the musical mission. Virgin Galactic is Richard Branson's space travel version of his company, Virgin Group. It is planning to provide suborbital spaceflights to tourists, suborbital launches and even suborbital transport. Gaga's performance will be broadcast live to the three-day Zero G festival at New Mexico's Spaceport America 2015. This will be the first ever performance in space, but other artists are following suit: Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lance Bass have all signed up to Galactic flights.

Lady Gaga's latest album, Art Pop, is the singers third studio release. It was released today in Japan and will be released worldwide on November 11. The track list is fifteen songs deep and runs like this: "Aura," "Venus," "G.U.Y.," "Sexxx Dreams," "Jewels N' Drugs," "MANiCURE," "Do What U Want," "Artpop," "Swine," "Donatella," "Fashion!," "Mary Jane Holland," "Dope," "Gypsy," and "Applause."
