Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Scott Disick and Kris Jenner recently made it known that their family is facing a major issue involving their children and grandchildren. Two of Kourtney and Scott’s kids have been physically hurting their nannies, and they have also been threatening to hurt their classmates.
In the previous episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Season 17, Kourtney told her family that her 9-year-old son, Mason Disick, threatened to fight one of his classmates. Penelope also scratched her nanny on the face.
Upon hearing this, Kris expressed her concerns over her grandchildren’s behavior. She said that she was blessed with six children, but she never saw this kind of behavior from them. Kourtney contradicted her mom by saying that she remembers how she used to slap her nanny on the face when she was just a kid.
Kim encouraged Kourtney to reach out to Penelope’s nanny and to ask for an apology. The mom of four said that she did the same thing after her eldest daughter, North West, also hurt her nanny.
After their discussion, Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble, suggested for Kourtney and Scott to discipline Penelope the hard way. He said that the couple needs to consider spanking the 7-year-old to teach her a lesson.
Prior to the episode’s airing, a teaser that centered on Corey and Scott’s feud made headlines. But according to Screen Rant, this was an obvious indication that the Kardashian-Jenner clan wanted to downplay the real issue at hand.
There was no mention of Penelope and North abusing their nannies in the teaser. And the clip didn’t also reveal how Mason tried to challenge his classmates to a fight.
Toward the end of the episode, the family didn’t have a solution on how to address the children’s behavior. Corey simply apologized to Kourtney for what he said.
But the real issue has to do with Mason and Penelope’s bad behavior toward other people. “Given their negative reaction toward Gamble, but their more indifferent reactions to other forms of abuse in their own family, there appears to [be] a lack of balance in their approach to the overarching situation,” the publication said.
