“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” has been on air for the past 12 years. And the show is currently on its 17th season.
The hit E! reality TV show first premiered in 2007. And 10 years later, the Kardashian-Jenner family signed a deal with a network to renew the show for five more years. They also agreed to receive below $100 million for three years.
But there are also some rumors suggesting that the Kardashian-Jenner family will be receiving $150 million for the next three years. And regardless of who gets the most exposure and storyline per episode, the family divides the income among themselves evenly.
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” momager Kris Jenner told the host that each one of them is paid equally. “Everybody gets paid pretty much equally, ‘cause we all film a lot and we all work hard, and we’ve created this show and this brand for the last decade,” she said. “Everybody’s happy.”
Two years ago, a source also said that the Kardashian-Jenner family’s deal is structured in such a way that they’re the ones who decide how they split the money among themselves. But it’s unclear if Kylie received the same salary while she was pregnant with Stormi Webster. During this time, she was only seen on the show a handful of times.
According to CheatSheet, if fans of the show would do the math and base their computation on the usual 20 episodes per season, it means that Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian receive $930,000 per episode. The publication also said that Scott Disick is also receiving the same amount.
But four years ago, E! agreed to give the stars of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” an $80-million deal, which also guaranteed that they would be on air until Season 14. At that time, rumors swirled that the family was receiving $500,000 per episode.
As of late, it’s still unclear if E! would renew “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” for more seasons after their deal is up. But fans are definitely hoping for the best.
