"Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director Tai Yasue recently spoke with Spanish website Meristation where he revealed how the upcoming Square Enix title will incorporate "Frozen" into the game. He also talked other properties he would be interested in seeing in KH3.
Yasue talked about the snow mountain in The Land of Dragons world for "Mulan." Essentially that is what "Frozen's" world would be like. He also added that he would add musical elements to the "Frozen" world, similar to those in Atlantica for "The Little Mermaid."
Additionally he shared what other Disney properties he would like to add into the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise. Yasue does want to add in "Star Wars," Marvel and Pixar characters and worlds. As Gameranx points out these worlds would be added to the games franchise similar to how they added "Timeless River."
The Timeless River world is from "Kingdom Hearts 2" which is based on the classic black and white Disney cartoon "Steamboat Willie." The world features old versions of Mickey Mouse and Pete and also adds long forgotten classic Disney characters Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck and Horace Horsecollar.
Yasue's latest statement leads us to believe that "Star Wars," Marvel and Pixar most likely won't be added to the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts" title but probably to future installments. It also opens up the door to adding many new and old Disney properties.
