Six seconds of the highly anticipated "Kingdom Hearts III" title was shown to fans at the D23 Expo in Japan. The video brought to you by Japanese cable channel DLife shows us a tiny bit of what to expect from the title.
The clip is very brief, but we can see Mickey with his keyblade as well as what looks like a "Toy Story" kingdom or world. It's hard to make it out but in the video we see Sora, Donald and Goofy taking flight in what resembles Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster ride at Epcot, report Realty Today.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Square Enix will release "Kingdom Hearts III" in 2016 since Amazon included it on its list of forthcoming video games that will be released next month, reports Yibada.
But that said report is most likely not true because the Amazon listing says that "Kingdom Hearts III" is for pre-order at $59.99 for PS4 and $59.00 for Xbox One with a note that says, "This item will be released on Dec. 30, 2016." The date is more than likely a placeholder as the seller also adds that there is "no actual release date confirmed at this time." and the seller apologizes for "any confusion" caused by the post.
