Khloe Kardashian Braces: See 28-Year-Old 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Star Get Invisalign To Straighten Teeth [PHOTOS]

The 28-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star and former X Factor host is officially wearing Invisalign clear braces to straighten out her teeth.

Khloe visited the office of the Kardashian family dentist, Dr. Kevin Sands last week - while cameras rolled for the latest season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" - to start the process of getting the clear braces on her teeth.

"She happens to have one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen," Dr. Sands told reports.

Khloe started the procedure earlier in the month and is reporting to already see some progress in tightening up her bite. Her dentist tweeted a picture of them together after the event saying: "always a pleasure to have her and Lamar visit!"

Khloe joked after visiting the dentist saying, "Thank you Dr. Sands for being the best dentist ever! If only we could all be put to sleep like [my husband Lamar Odom],"

The reality star doesn't really need braces, though. When her fans reached out asking why she would even bother getting the dental work when her teeth are great, her dentist released a statement saying that the Kardashian got the braces because she's a "perfectionist".

"She happens to have one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen," reportedly said Dr. Kevin Sands, according to reports. "But she's a perfectionist and so am I, so it was just something we knew we could do. We'll take her from a 9.5 to a 12!"

According to the dentist, Khloe's braces will be worn only for a few months. "Her teeth are just slightly crooked and rotated, most people wouldn't notice, that's how minor it is," Dr. Sands said. "But Invisalign is just so easy and non-invasive that it's worth doing. When Khloe walked in last week I was like, 'Wow!' She looks better than ever. We fixed some fillings and took the molds for the Invisalign."

Other celebrities such as Tom Cruise have gotten braces later in life. Famous faces including Faith Hill, Nicolas Cage, Faye Dunaway, Estelle, and Gwen Stefani have all sported orthodontic gear in the past.
