Instagram opted to silence outspoken rapper Kanye West for 24 hours after the award-winning musician lashed out on its platform and went to war with various A-listers, including ex-wife Kim Kardashian, her current beau Pete Davidson, and South African comedian Trevor Noah.
“All in together now… K–n baya my lord k–n baya K–n baya my lord K–n baya Oooo’ lord K–n baya,” West captioned a now-deleted screenshot from a Google search result he shared on Wednesday.
In the post, the 44-year-old artist mocked Noah, 38, by using the offensive “k–n” slur to substitute the original lyrics in “Kumbaya.”
TMZ reported that a spokesperson for Meta said Kanye's recent posts against Noah, which were deemed racial slurs, violated Instagram's policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying.
The suspension meant the “Donda” hitmaker, who seemingly made Instagram his diary, was barred from posting, commenting on photos and videos, and sending DMs to his socials, for at least 24 hours.
Accordingly, Meta warned Ye that further violations on his end would result in heavier sanctions.
West’s IG profile lacks one noticeable post, where he previously turned his anger toward the satirical news program host, who addressed the ongoing feud between Kim, Kanye, and “Skete” in a lengthy segment on Tuesday, according to U.S. Magazine.
In that "Daily News" episode, Noah warned viewers that the post-divorce drama could soon turn violent.
His Tuesday commentary included an admission that the Skims founder loves publicity but that it is also possible she’s now being harassed by her ex-husband, who has been struggling with bipolar disorder for years.
“What [Kardashian is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave,” the political commentator shared on “The Daily Show” per Page Six.
“What we’re seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her,” he continued.
Last week, Kanye took to social media to accuse Kim of keeping their kids away from him, prompting Pete to finally make a move and break his silence to defend Kardashian.
The text exchange also saw Davidson offer an olive branch to West for the sake of his family. The former couple shares kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
