The now country star will be the guest of honor at a Microsoft store opening at Fashion Mall. The first 1,000 people in life get two free tickets.

"Getting ready for my show at the @MicrosoftStore here at @ShopFashionMall in #Indy!," the singer Tweeted.

Just a day earlier the first "American Idol" winner was in Detroit 20 minutes into her performance when it was cut short.

The reason? A heavy rain storm hit the area and the outdoor show in Michigan had to be cancelled. Clarkson tried to continue with the show despite the water.

"I'll stand out here in the rain with you! Well, at least we're not sweating," she told the crowd according to MSN.

For safety reasons the concert had to be shortened and Kelly was ordered off stage. She later apologized on her social network.

"Sorry Detroit about the rain! Wow, it was coming down hard at the end! Thanks 4 hanging in as long as we all could!"

Kelly Clarkson is going back to her country roots with her latest single "Tie It Up" and is expected to release a ful country album soon.
