Katy Perry Strips Down For 'Everybody Votes' Campaign [VIDEO]

After last night’s first presidential debate, it is important now more than ever that we all get out and vote. The future of our country is in our hands and if you follow Katy Perry nothing should stand in your way of voting- even if you look like crap!

The “Roar” singer has partnered up with Funny Or Die and Rock the Vote to encourage everyone to vote on November 8. In the latest campaign, the starlet rolls out of bed after seemingly having a long night with a lollipop and popcorn stuck in her uncombed hair. Being that there is no law that says you have to look decent when casting your vote. Determined to have her voice heard, the singer strips down to her birthday suit.

Perry arrives at the polls in her birthday suit and points out other voters who are fully dressed. Two police officers’ rush to arrest her and throw her in the back of a police car, where an also naked Joel McHale talks about their similar situation.

While many people may look at this campaign as a weird approach to encouraging people to get out and vote, you have to admire the creativity behind it. The beauty that is known to be fun and down to earth, teased her campaign with an epic Instagram post. “ I USE MY BODY AS CLICK BAIT TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD,” the star tweets yesterday.

Although the video doesn’t show support for either candidate, Perry is a known supporter of Hilary Clinton. The starlet gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention in July showing her support for Clinton. While Perry is not telling you all to show up to the polls naked, her bold and courageous move serves as a source of inspiration.
