Kate Middleton has a slew of qualities that royal fans like about her. However, the Duchess of Cambridge also has some traits that the public does not necessarily adore.
On the online forum site Quora, royal fan Deanna Eppers said that she has always found Kate interesting until Meghan Markle joined the royal family. For Eppers, Kate is someone who has a great work ethic but needs to do more.
“I admire Kate’s intellect, her natural athletic ability, her model-like beauty, she seems to be a terrific mother, and she and William look like a happily married couple,” Eppers also wrote. “The closeness of Middleton’s family is admirable also. They all love to spend time together. That’s saying something.”
Victoria J. Kidd, a former student at Olivet Nazarene University, said that she likes and admires the mom of three because of how much she loves Prince William. Kidd also said that Kate seems to be very intelligent and is also a good mother to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Kidd also singled out one instance that made her realize how amazing the Duchess of Cambridge really is. She said that during one of her royal engagements with Prince William, Kate bent down so that she was at eye level with one of the kids she spoke with.
“And I thought immediately of Diana,” Kidd said. “Kate has a similar rapport with children that was so obvious in Diana,” she added.
Kidd also shared the one instance where she felt that Prince William and Kate were really in love with each other. She said that while at the London Olympics years ago, Prince William lifted Kate off the ground and swung her around out of sheer excitement. At that time, Britain won a gold medal.
Edward Ferdon, another royal fan, said that the two things he adores most about Kate are her being an excellent mother and a devoted wife. She is also an excellent representative of Queen Elizabeth II.
Kate has been part of the royal family for almost 8 years now. She and Prince William will celebrate their wedding anniversary on April 29.
