Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is once again at the center of rumors. Prince William and Kate have been blessed with three children — 6-year-old George, 4-year-old Charlotte and 1-year-old Louis — and are currently speculated to be pregnant with their fourth child.

The duchess’ fourth pregnancy is big news, given that she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy complication that causes severe nausea. Their friends, however, don’t find the possible pregnancy surprising and are actually expectant of the coming royal baby.

Queen Elizabeth has four children, and the Duke of Cambridge allegedly wishes for the same. Given that the second in the line of succession and future king of the United Kingdom’s role model is the 93-year-old monarch, this comes as no surprise. “Prince William reportedly wants to follow Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps by having four children,” a friend of the prince revealed.

“Catherine would like another baby,” Kate’s friend confided to a source. “She loves children and is prepared to put herself through another pregnancy even though they have been complicated in the past.”

Kate’s love for children is no big surprise, especially with her child-centric advocacies. Her recent Back to Nature garden for children had fans see her enjoying her time with the kids who attended the opening.

The pregnancy speculation peaked after she was sighted cradling her tummy at the Royal Ascot a few months back. Multiple photographs show Kate’s hand resting on her belly, and many witnesses noted that her hand unconsciously returned to the spot frequently.

The 37-year-old duchess furthered the rumors after Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first day of school earlier this month. Kate was sighted sporting lighter colored hair than her usual look, which experts point as a tell-tale sign that she’s pregnant. Sources theorize that she changes her hairstyle to move the attention away from her growing baby bump.

Charlotte poured fuel in the ever-growing pregnancy theory after allegedly telling her classmates that “mummy is having another girl.” “One of the teaching aides overheard Charlotte saying it and couldn’t believe her ears — Charlotte was talking very loudly, and seemed convinced that her mummy was pregnant,” revealed a source.
