Kanye West’s relationship with Adidas appears to be hanging by a thread as the sports and streetwear giant said its partnership with the rapper is "being evaluated" following the "White Lives Matter" shirt stunt during his Yeezy fashion show in Paris.

“The Adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry's history. We are proud of our team that has worked tirelessly throughout our collaboration with Ye and the iconic products that were born from it. We also recognize that all successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values,” the company announced Thursday in a statement through CNBC.

“After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review,” Adidas said.

The statement resulted in a heated response from the rapper, with West going on Instagram to say, “F–K ADIDAS I AM ADIDAS ADIDAS RAPED AND STOLE MY DESIGNS.”

The rapper surprised the Yeezy Paris fashion show on Monday with a speech wearing a statement shirt that contradicts and mocks the “Black Lives Matter” movement meant to highlight the brutality and racism black people face, which West called on Twitter a big scam. The shirt also includes Pope Francis’ face on the front.

In the past months, West has went on a tirade accusing the retail company of copying his designs, not opening Yeezy stores and not giving him enough control over his products, according to E Online.

Early September, West also posted and deleted a post against Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted showing an edited New York Times front page that says, “KASPER RORSTED ALSO DEAD AT 60” in bold capital letters with a caption that says, “God Loves Us.”

According to CNBC, West has been calling out the board members of the company by posting their pictures online.

Ye first partnered with Adidas in 2013 which handled his Yeezy brand that became one of the world’s biggest trending collaborations. His contract with the company was supposed to last until 2026 but West has recently been venting out his frustrations toward the company through malicious posts on social media.
