Renowned rapper and songwriter Kanye West is reportedly trying to win Kim Kardashian over for the second time after the friendly exes agreed to hit the brakes on their divorce, which the SKIMS mogul filed in February after being married for about seven years.
Ye remains hopeful he could patch things up with Kim amid divorce proceedings as insiders reveal that the former couple is not looking to split anymore following two public dates and a controversial performance during his "Donda" listening party, The News International reported.
While one source claims that West is just “still styling Kim," another would insist the "Donda" hitmaker, 44, wants more intimacy in their relationship, which currently sees Kardashian, 40, involved with Kanye’s work ventures and vice versa.
“Kanye wants to get back with Kim,” the insider claimed. “[Kanye] sees the two of them together and wants to make that a reality now. He has been trying to get back in her good graces again and it seems to be working.”
On Thursday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum and her estranged rapper husband were spotted enjoying a business dinner at Nobu Malibu, a popular celebrity hotspot, with pal and Chief Marketing Officer of KKW Brands, Tracy Romulus.
According to People, the former lovers invited a small group of people for dinner and sat next to each other but reportedly acted more like friends.
"Kanye was in charge of the conversation. Kim was quieter. Kanye also picked up the check," an insider noted.
In early August, Kanye and Kim went out for a lunch date in Malibu, which subsequently followed Kim's attendance in all three of Kanye's "Donda" listening parties, where she donned a wedding gown as they seemingly relived the day of their nuptials.
Meanwhile, the reconciliation rumors come as West moved to sell his premises in Cody, Wyoming after placing seven commercial properties totaling $3.2 million on the market, Screen Rant noted.
All seven properties were affiliated with the designer's Yeezy label and maintained operations for the fashion company. One section of the 3.76-acre land, dubbed as the"Yeezy tent," is being sold for $1.3 million after it was bought to be a temporary storage structure.
Kardashian and the "Stronger" rapper began dating in 2012 and held their nuptials in May 2014, sharing seven years with four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, before their explosive divorce announcement in February.
