Gossipmongers just won’t leave Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin alone, and now they’re the subject of another alarming rumor yet again. If the tabloids are to be believed, the Biebs’ mental health is worsening, and Baldwin can’t handle it anymore. But is there any truth to these claims?
Before followers fall into the trap of deception, Gossip Cop came to the rescue by debunking the malicious report from Heat. The tabloid shared that an insider has supposedly come forth and revealed that the pop star’s struggles were “too much” for his 22-year-old wife.
“She feels like his therapist sometimes,” the anonymous source claimed. “It’s an incredible amount of pressure to put on such a young person, especially one so inexperienced with this kind of thing,” he added. Baldwin is said to be “exhausted” and continuously managing Bieber’s mood swings.
Upon investigation, the site noticed that just last week, she posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram, with her husband’s arms wrapped around her in an embrace. “The most perfect day with my person,” she captioned, which is a far cry from sounding like someone on the edge because of a partner’s mental condition.
People magazine has already reported last March that contrary to the rumor, Baldwin has been very cooperative and “encouraging” to Bieber and his mental health worries. “Hailey isn’t putting any pressure on him at all,” the publication concluded. Bieber was also said to be “seeing therapists on both coasts,” so it’s a stretch to call Baldwin his personal psychologist.
News outlets could have harped on his condition due to a recent lengthy Instagram post. In the post, the singer candidly opened up about his rocky mental health for the past few years, which also triggered the cancelation of his 2017 world tour.
“I got really depressed on tour,” Bieber wrote. “I haven’t talked about this, and I’m still processing so much stuff that I haven’t talked about,” he added. He also asked his fans to keep on praying for him as he recovers, with a promise of a “kick ass” album as soon as he can.
