John Mayer Making A Move On Jennifer Aniston?

Let’s get this straight—everyone wants Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston back together. While it’s heartwarming to see how cordial the ex-spouses are to each other, truth be told, there’s nothing beyond mutual respect and admiration between the two inseparable friends as of now ( their spokespeople have stressed.)

But, given how the rumor mills love whipping out juicy tales on romances that barely ever bloom in reality, it's unsurprising to discover that the latest gossip doing the rounds is about John Mayer—Aniston’s other ex— trying hard to win her over, much to the dismay of Pitt.

A sketchy report by a tabloid released a rather interesting piece on how Mayer asked Jen out, to which she eventually agreed. “John panicked when he realized things were serious between Jen and Brad and convinced himself that she was his one that got away,” said the supposed source. “So in true John fashion, he engineered an innocent catch-up between them to gauge where she’s at with Brad,” added the source.

While this is partly true because Aniston DID meet Mayer for dessert at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, they were accompanied by Andy Cohen and Aniston’s close friend, Amanda Anka. Indeed, the four seemed to have a great time, but the report further suggests that it left Pitt infuriated and also warned Mayer to steer clear of Aniston’s life.

Wait, hold your horses. Rumors about the two exes who split in 2009 trying to get back and Brad getting mad is bogus. Gossip Cop sprang to action just right in time and busted it. First things first— the truth is, Pitt and Aniston are NOT dating, to begin with. They are just, um okay, really friendly with each other. But that’s JUST that. So, Pitt getting possessive and warning Mayers is far from the truth. Secondly, not too long ago, the same tabloid rustled up another story on Aniston having a baby with Pitt and the two heading off to Italy to celebrate. It turns out, the latest report remains mysteriously mum about the angle they brought forth in the previous story.

What needs to be known is that the “Friends” star is great at maintaining cordial relationships with her exes and it’s no different in the case of Mayer. They've been on good, talking terms since the split a decade ago. Also, this isn’t the first time that Gossip Cop had to gun down false rumors about Mayer and Aniston getting back together. Something similar was etched out in May 2018, the gossip eventually fizzled after Gossip Cop quashed it with accurate facts.
