Joe, Kevin, Nick Jonas: Who Took His Purity Ring Off Earliest?

Fans of the Jonas Brothers probably remember back then that, aside from being extremely popular to the younger crowd, brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas were also known for wearing purity rings. These days, the rings are gone and are now replaced by wedding rings. Naturally, fans of the boy band can’t help but wonder just when the boys took those rings off because the brothers never spoke on that topic until now.

For those who might not know what wearing a purity ring signifies, it’s a practice that originated in the US in the nineties that is usually done by members of Christian-affiliated sexual abstinence groups. Simply put, the wearer of the ring pledges to remain celibate until marriage.

Having dated Nick Jonas from 2006 until 2007 when he still wore his purity ring, Miley Cyrus was also very interested just when her ex-boyfriend took the ring off. Well, she finally got the chance to question the boys during the British show “Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp.”

The playful Cyrus obliquely asked the brothers if they enjoyed their first time. “Did it feel so good taking off your purity ring and did it feel so good taking off your purity ring — you know what I'm saying?” the former Disney Channel star asked.

“Yeah,” Joe answered for the group, who can’t help but giggle at Cyrus’ hilarious question. The question was not hard for Kevin to answer as among his siblings, he married the earliest, which happened back in 2009 to Danielle Jonas.

Meanwhile, Joe already revealed in a Reddit Q&A that he lost his virginity when he was 20 years old. Since he’s 29 now, it likely happened back in 2010.

The singer even gave his fans a few hints on who the girl might be. “I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley,” Joe Jonas said. “You can probably just Google it. It’s pretty easy to figure out. I dated a girl named Ashley, so just Google it to figure out which Ashley that is.”

The youngest of the trio, Nick, confirmed in 2014 that he was no longer wearing his purity ring. However, he didn’t specifically say when he stopped wearing it. Thus, it’s also a possibility that he lost his virginity even earlier than that.
