Jessica Alba is back reprising her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in the highly anticipated sequel “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For” on August 22. Although we love watching this sexy Latina flaunt her curves and captivate us with her killer moves, it turns out, she is actually a bit more conservative when it comes to actually stripping it all off.
Every time Alba shoots a movie, she includes a no-nudity clause. You might begin thinking that it’s because besides an actress, she’s also a mother and a businesswoman, or maybe because she has created a brand out of her name and she’s the face of so many products that might not be too happy if all of the sudden she got naked in front of everyone, or maybe you could even think that it’s because her husband wouldn’t let her take it all off in her movies.
However, none of those were the reason. Jessica Alba is the new cover girl for June’s edition of Glamour magazine, where she opened up about her business, The Honest Company, which promotes and sells eco-friendly, natural and health-conscious family and home products, her health issues while growing up, and how her mother taught her to be financially independent.
She also explained why she won’t do nudes. "I don't want my grandparents to see my boobs. That's it," she said. "It would be weird at Christmas. And, I mean, really, if you look at the movies I have done, getting naked would never 'elevate' the picture."
This is not the first time when the actress and entrepreneur has been vocal about the no-nudity clause. Back in 2005, when she first starred in Sin City, she told Elle Magazine, “I don't do nudity. I just don't," she said at the time. "Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won't get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety.”
