Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a man for allegedly tricking him into sending her nude pictures of himself. The Puerto Rican diva, 44, is being sued by Los Angeles man Rodrigo Ruiz for $10,000, alleging he suffered from depression after a series of letters the pop star reportedly mailed him. Ruiz explains the singer began mailing him the letters in 2008, which said that JLo was “interested” in him and she would help him further his career in the music business. The suit also said that Jennifer made Ruiz believe he could have a romance with the star. However, to do all that, Ruiz would have to send Lopez naked pictures of himself.
The plaintiff says JLo failed to follow through, and left him depressed, forcing him to seek professional help. It seems like the lawsuit wasn’t enough for the man, and he also filed a police report claiming sexual harassment. TMZ got a hold of three of the letters the pop diva allegedly sent the man. One of them reads, "I just wanted to let you know that I do remember you and that I am interested in you. I have plans on leaving my husband. But I can't say much right now so that's it for now. Send me pictures of you both with clothes and without clothes."
The second one is more of the same. "This is Jennifer Lopez writing to you again and just to let you know that I got your packages, music, and demos. And just to let you know you need to send me pictures of you with and without clothes." However, the third one gets racier. "This is Jennifer Lopez and as you can tell its been a while since I last wrote and as you can see I have a new boyfriend which means your in for the long haul and you have to put up with the fact that I am f**king him and sucking his d**k."
Nevertheless, this might all be a catfish kinda situation. It turns out that the post-office box Ruiz replied to thinking it was Jennifer’s, belongs to a 53-year-old woman in Los Angeles. When TMZ contacted her about the lawsuit, she made a claim about operating a Jennifer Lopez fan mail exchange before hanging up. A rep for JLo commented on the matter, "this is a small claims matter that appears to be a desperate attempt for notoriety. Ms Lopez has never seen or met the plaintiff, nor has she ever communicated with him. We believe this matter should be summarily dismissed."
