Jennifer Lopez is all about adding extra Latino flavor to her Las Vegas show, “All I Have.”
Earlier this week, the Boricua singer made the headlines after a video of her shaking her booty to Daddy Yankee’s hit “Gasolina” went viral.
In the clip, JLo appears at the center of the stage as she entertains the audience with her best twerking moves while the famous reggeaton song plays in the background.
After a few seconds, the 46-year-old performer walks to the back of the stage, where she meets with the rest of the dance crew.
“Dang. JLo still got it,” commented Facebook user Janell Davis.
Roulette Noturz added, “It’s amazing what this woman can do at her age. Get them JLo. For real! That’s crazy…Owww!”
Even though the “Shades of Blue” star received a lot of good criticism for daring to get low to a DY song, the Internet trolls had to share a piece of their minds as well.
“No shade but you can tell when a celebrity is on their way out the entertainment business,” wrote Mamie Smith. “Things they would never do before are ok now. Hopefully, I’m wrong.”
Matt Navarrette mentioned, “She’s so thirsty…she’s too old to be going all that.”
During a recent interview with E! News host Maria Menounos, the mother-of-two revealed that her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, is the one to thank for her killer dance moves, especially “the shimmy.”
“By the way, I remember when you taught me how to do ‘the shimmy’ and you were like, ‘it is all in the knees,’ and I do it all the time now,” Menounos told JLo before she jumped in saying, “My mother taught me that.”
She continued, “Because girls shake different now, and she taught me when I was like two or three years old how to do it. You know what I mean, like they’d put you up on the table and said, ‘menéalo, menéalo,’ which means shake, and I’d do that. But now girls are twerking and doing all kinds of [moves], but I stick to what I know.”
