Jennifer Lopez has an upcoming concert in the Dominican Republic and she's happy about it! Casa de Campo, the resort where the venue for JLo's concert is located at, just released a brand new video that shows the Bronx diva's excitement over her upcoming trip to the DR to perform at the Caribbean country for the first time.
She expressed her pleasure of performing at the "Altos De Chavón" amphitheater and invited all of her fans to attend the major '"Holy Week" event. "Hi lovers! I am so excited to having you join me at my first concert ever in your beautiful country. I can’t wait to see you on April 15th at the historic 'Altos de Chavón' Casa de Campo," JLo says on the clip.
Her show delivers high-energy performances with an ample section dedicated to Latin music, fusing it with funk, hip-hop, pop and other sounds that make JLo unique.
The "Ain't Your Mama" singer will be performing on the same stage where artists such as Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, J Balvin, Ricky Martin, Zion & Lennox, Enrique Iglesias and Gente de Zona, have performed in the past in this particular date of the year, which coincides with Holy Week and Easter, big celebrations in the Dominican Republic.
JLo’s fans are in for a treat with an incredible show that will include amazing lighting design, outstanding sound and screens and of course, the Bronx diva’s display of talents that include her envious dance moves and her powerful vocals.
"She’s one of the top international stars of the moment and having her here only shows our commitment in offering the best shows in our magical stage, which belongs to everyone," Andres Pichardo, president of Casa de Campo, said in a statement.
Lopez just had an unprecedented year breaking records in Las Vegas with her "All I Have" residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, where she remains throughout 2017. She's already sold over a million tickets and chances are she will sell even more.
Her concert at Altos de Chavón, however, will also include some of the songs in Spanish she’s been working on as part of her new Spanish album that she’s recording with Marc Anthony, who’s producing it with his company Magnus Media.
As we all supposed, Jennifer's new boyfriend, baseball player Alex Rodríguez, will be supporting her show and we cannot wait to see him there, for the first time publicly, showing some love to the Puerto Rican star. The show will start at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday April 15th and you can get tickets here.
