Dominican Republic rejoice! Jennifer Lopez will step foot for the first time ever in Dominican soil to perform at the renowned Altos de Chavón Amphitheater in the luxurious touristic complex Casa de Campo on Saturday April 15, 2017.

The "Ain’t Your Mama" singer will be performing on the same stage where artists such as Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, J Balvin, Ricky Martin, Zion & Lennox, Enrique Iglesias and Gente de Zona, have performed in the past in this particular date of the year, which coincides with Holy Week and Easter, big celebrations in the Dominican Republic.

JLo’s fans are in for a treat with an incredible show that will include amazing lighting design, outstanding sound and screens and of course, the Bronx diva’s display of talents that include her envious dance moves and her powerful vocals.

“It is with great excitement that we welcome Jennifer Lopez in our home,” Andres Pichardo, president of Casa de Campo, said in a statement. “She’s one of the top international stars of the moment and having her here only shows our commitment in offering the best shows in our magical stage, which belongs to everyone.” Pichardo went on to add that Casa de Campo is preparing special packages that will include tickets to the concert and stay in the luxury resort that is a hot spot among celebrities like Shakira, Beyonce and even the Kardashians.

Lopez just had an unprecedented year breaking records in Las Vegas with her “All I Have” residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, where she remains throughout 2017. She’s already sold over a million tickets and chances are she will sell even more. Her show delivers high energy performances with an ample section dedicated to Latin music, fusing it with funk, hip-hop, pop and other sounds that make JLo unique.

Her concert at Altos de Chavón, however, will also include some of the songs in Spanish she’s been working on as part of her new Spanish album that she’s recording with Marc Anthony, who’s producing it with his company Magnus Media. The show will start at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday April 15 and ticket information will be available in the coming weeks.
