Jennifer Lopez is worried about her family members after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico. The Bronx-diva has not been able to contact her loved ones following the natural disaster that left the whole island without power. "Hi, I’m Jennifer Lopez. Not my most glamorous look right now I know, I’m working in Vegas right now, but that’s not really important," she said in a video that she posted on Instagram. "What’s on my mind is what’s going on in Puerto Rico, the devastation is beyond belief. Me and my cousins still haven’t been able to hear from our families over there."

Lopez continued: "Foremost on my mind and many others is trying to figure out the best way to help. The island of Puerto Rico has been hit by two of the most devastating hurricanes we have ever seen: Irma and Maria. Today Puerto Rico needs our help. I urge you to support and donate to the efforts of the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló. Together we can help rebuild our island and the Caribbean. Los quiero y nuestras oraciones están con ustedes."

Ricky Martin is also asking for help raising money for the relief of Puerto Rico. “Hello everyone this is Ricky Martin and I need your help,” he in an emotional video. “Puerto Rico needs you at the moment. Just go to youcaring.com/rickymartin and help us. Donate whatever you can, just one dollar would make a difference. If everyone would give me a dollar, my goodness. Puerto Rico is in a precarious position at the moment. We can’t do it alone. We need you.” As of the publication of this piece, Martin had raised over $200,000.

Daddy Yankee also shared a message with his followers on the same social network. "Puerto Rico, you are in my heart," he wrote. "To my brothers and sisters that live in the zone of risk, please guard your lives and your families, material things we can replace. We are strong and we have faith, we know that God will not abandon us. This is a further test to show that we can come together as one."

The star is also collecting donations like "bottles of water, diapers, batteries" at venues he's performing at like in New York and Chicago.

Marc Anthony also joined the efforts of the Puerto Rican First Lady, Beatriz Rosselló and the United For Puerto Rico campaign. "During these past weeks, my island has faced the wrath of two historic hurricanes. It was Hurricane Irma and now Hurricane Maria as we all know, which has caused great devastation in Puerto Rico and the broader Caribbean. None the less, Puerto Rico became a haven for those in need from our neighboring islands, that says a lot about us," he explained.. "But today, Puerto Rico needs your help, and I'm calling on everyone to support and donate to the disaster relief effort of the First Lady of Puerto Rico Beatriz Rosselló. United for Puerto Rico. Together we can change trajectories. UnitedForPuertoRico.com"
