Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Back Together After Split?

If we are going by the phrase that life often comes to a full circle, recently separated couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were seen having dinner at the same restaurant they went on their first date, completing their circle, perhaps.

The former couple Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were seen having dinner together at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, over the weekend. On Friday night, the couple was out at the posh hotel, just over a week after they announced they'd called off their engagement and split, Page Six reported.

Lopez, 51, recently completed filming in the Dominican Republic for her next release, "Shotgun Wedding."

Rodriguez, 45, is in the process of acquiring a stake in the Minnesota Timberwolves as a co-owner.

At the friendly get-together, it appeared that the pop star and the former Yankees slugger were still amicable. “There always seemed to be love and respect there,” a source said. It's currently unknown what the Oscar weekend fun dinner was all about. According to reports, the ex-couple is still working on business ventures together, though Lopez is not involved in Rodriguez's attempt to purchase an NBA team.

They had announced their split in an interview to Today, and said that they were better off as friends, and it certainly looks like Lopez and Rodriguez are making good on their promise to remain friends after ending their engagement.

Lopez decided to end things with Rodriguez owing to "issues when it came to wedding plans and trust issues that she couldn't get past," a source told Entertainment Tonight.

Following the dinner, Rodriguez returned to Miami for the 13th birthday of his daughter Ella. “Home sweet home,” he captioned a picture of a private plane, as well as photos of himself and Ella with the caption, "My little baby girl is 13...Where does the time go?" Ella, and Natasha, 16, are Rodriguez's daughters from his first marriage to Cynthia Scurtis.

Lopez, meanwhile, shared a nostalgic video clip on Instagram on Saturday, showing her on the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in a glitzy ensemble.
