Jennifer Lopez visited the "Ellen Degeneres Show" along with her sons Max and Emme. Among the topics she talked openly about was her relationship with Alex Rodriguez and explained how their romance started.
The couple, she says, began to talk about life in Los Angeles where they both reside and eventually he invited her out.
"It's very simple. I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him. He passed by. For some reason, I just felt like tapping him on the shoulder and said Hi," she recalled. And he's like, ‘Hi, Jennifer!' and then that was it. That's how we met," she said.
Ellen Degeneres really did a great job and get all the information we needed to know about this romance as J.Lo kept talking about the magical moment. "I said, 'What are you doing in LA?'" she recalled and then he said 'I live out here now,'" J.Lo continued.
"He sent me a text message saying 'Let's have dinner' and I said 'OK.' We had a very nice dinner, " explained the 47-year-old star as detailed on ABC News.
JLo and A-Rod met in 2004 during a game held on May 21 at the former Shea Stadium in Queens, New York. Later she and Marc split in 2014.
When DeGeneres joked that the two then had a "sleepover," Lopez replied: "Mama don't sleep over on the first date."
