But instead of abating, rumors of the two rekindling their romance even got more intense with the recent ones saying that they might be about to go public with their relationship.

The recent rumors seem to have been fanned by the fact that both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are officially single again. The actress filed for divorce more than two years ago, and both parties had their single status recently restored by the court.

Since both can now officially start dating again, those Jennifer Aniston-Brad Pitt rumors are flaring up once more. In fact, Star magazine hinted that Aniston might have held herself back from the dating scene as she was waiting exactly for this moment.

“She’s held off on seeing other people because she knew this was coming,” the Star article said, as quoted by Gossip Cop. “No other guy even comes close in terms of attraction.”

However, the report added that their relationship seems to be in the exploratory stages at the moment as it not yet exclusive. “They’ll go on dates, but nothing will be exclusive for now,” the report claimed. “She’s fine with that, but if Brad finally feels like he wants to get serious, Jen is more than ready.”

However, the fact-checking site Gossip Cop says that the story is false. While both Pitt and Aniston are on friendly terms, they are definitely not dating.

Rumors that the ex-couple might be rekindling their romance started early this year. Pitt was seen attending Aniston’s birthday party on Feb. 11, which started tongues wagging.

However, a source close to the ex-couple came forward and clarified the matter. “He wanted to support Jen and it was a momentous occasion,” the source told E! News.

“But that's the extent of it. It was a social evening with a lot of people who have been a part of her life. They definitely aren't dating or on that path. They are friendly, but that's it,” the source continued.
