Did Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Secretly Wed In Mexico?

There is no truth in a previous report claiming that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston remarried in Mexico and that Angelina Jolie was fuming over the supposed marriage. In fact, the ex-spouses reportedly didn't interact that much during Aniston's birthday bash.

In an article titled “Brad & Jen Say ‘I Do’ Again!” a magazine reported that Pitt and Aniston secretly eloped in Mexico last month to get hitched. The magazine also claimed that upon learning about their secret marriage, a furious Jolie accused Pitt of bigamy and wanted to get her ultimate revenge by making sure her ex-husband would end up behind bars.

Last month, Aniston took a trip to Mexico to celebrate her 50th birthday. The trip made headlines when Aniston’s private plane had to circle back and land at the Ontario International Airport in Ontario, California, while en route to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, due to problems with the aircraft’s landing gear.

According to the magazine, the incident made Aniston realize that life is short and that she could have easily died in the crash. “Jen knew then that she had to follow her heart and remarry Brad,” the magazine’s anonymous source said.

The unidentified source added that upon her sudden realization, Aniston decided to meet up with Pitt at some point during her vacation in Mexico to do what she had to do. The source reportedly said that “when no one was looking, Aniston snuck off and tied the knot in a quickie commitment ceremony.”

Gossip Cop reached out to a source close to Aniston to verify the report, but the source said none of those things had actually happened and that the deceitful narrative was based on claims from a nonexistent tipster. According to the source, Pitt and Aniston were never together on a beach in Mexico and they would never tie the knot again despite their renewed friendship following the Brangelina split.

Aniston and Pitt’s breakup was one of the most widely reported in 2005. Their relationship ended after Pitt got smitten with his “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-star, Angelina Jolie, who married Pitt in 2014. Their love triangle has been under media scrutiny all the years since.
