Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm are being linked to each other, more than a year after the "FRIENDS" actress's split from Justin Theroux. But, the truth is, the A-listers are not an item.
A tabloid, recently, claimed that Aniston and Hamm’s romance is blossoming after the two went on secret dates. An unnamed source said that everyone was wondering why the two celebrities didn’t date each other much sooner.
“Over the years, she’s had her people enquire if he was available on several occasions in between her own romances,” the source said. The insider went on to say that it was Paul Rudd who set up Hamm with Aniston.
“Paul told Jon it’s about time he went for it with Jen. Paul’s known all about Jen’s long-time crush and after all these years, they’re both single – so in his eyes, the timing was ideal,” the insider claimed.
The unnamed source went on to say that Aniston and Hamm have been hanging out at their respective homes in Los Angeles since they want to keep their budding relationship as low-key as possible. The rumored couple enjoys ordering take away and drinking wine at home.
“Jen always thought Jon was a good-looking guy, but she never realized how funny and charming he was too. Now she’s on the receiving end and she can’t get enough,” the tipster claimed.
However, according to the rumor-debunking site, Gossip Cop, there is no truth to the claims. Aniston and Hamm are not dating, and Rudd didn’t set them up. The publication also reached out to Aniston’s rep and was told that the allegations are nonsense.
“The Morning Show” star appeared on “The Howard Stern Show” earlier this month, where she confirmed that she’s single and happy. She also said that she’s very busy to date at the moment since she’s still promoting her upcoming Apple TV series alongside Reese Witherspoon.
Just months ago, Aniston was also linked to “A Star Is Born” actor Bradley Cooper. If the two just dated months ago, it is unlikely that the “Friends” alum would jump from one relationship to the next. But, Gossip Cop also confirmed that Aniston and Cooper were not an item.
